Discover EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 with your classes
From 22 to 26 September 2027, 800 top young professionals from more than 30 countries will come together in Düsseldorf to compete for the European Championship titles in 50 different skills from the fields of crafts, industry and services. Admission is free on the competition days, 23 to 25 September 2027.
For the first time, two nations will jointly host the European Championship of Vocational Skills. Under the motto “SKILLS! SHAPE YOUR FUTURE”, Germany and Luxembourg aim to inspire young people to shape their professional future and discover the diversity of vocational skills and careers.
The competitors at EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 are among the best young professionals in Europe, selected through their respective national competitions. Over three days of competition, they will complete demanding tasks individually or as part of a team, working under strict time limits and professional requirements. They will demonstrate complex and highly precise skills acquired through training and practical experience, competing at the highest international level.

Inspiration for school and career
A visit to EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 is about much more than watching Europe’s top young professionals compete against each other. Teachers and students will gain unique insights into the world of vocational education and the wide range of training and career opportunities available across Europe.
Try-a-Skill is one of the highlights of EuroSkills. In these interactive areas, students can try out different skills for themselves, discover their own strengths and interests, and learn more about career opportunities.
At each competition area, students can find background information about the skill and the profession behind it, making the different careers more tangible and easier to understand.
A range of suitable materials will be available online in advance, helping schools prepare specifically for their visit to EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027. Free guided tours will also provide school classes with a structured and engaging way to explore the event.
An app will help students and teachers deepen their experience and personalise their visit.
Teachers can gain valuable inspiration for their lessons, discover best practices from other countries and connect with education experts and companies.
A visit to EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 inspires motivation, curiosity and enthusiasm to develop individual skills, perfect them and embrace lifelong learning.

Supporting programme at EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027
Alongside the competitions and the many interactive activities, EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 will bring together institutions, associations and stakeholders from the fields of education, politics and business from across Europe and beyond. They will come together to discuss the future of vocational education and training in Europe and engage in dialogue with young people.
SkillsForumEurope – Where Europe comes together to shape what’s next.
With SkillsForumEurope, the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth invites participants to explore the key questions shaping the future of vocational education and training through dialogue and encourages everyone to play an active role.
For students and teachers, this will be possible, for example, in interactive Future Arenas located in the individual competition halls. These arenas are spaces where visitors can discuss and negotiate, take a position, make the future visible and jointly explore possible decisions. Each hall will become a unique space for societal dialogue and negotiation.
Registration
From autumn 2026, school classes will be able to register their interest in visiting EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 here without obligation.
Teachers who are interested can already sign up for the School Newsletter and receive regular updates.
Guided Tours
Booking for guided tours for school classes is expected to open online from January 2027.
Getting to and from the event
Groups can travel to and from the event using public transport or by bus.
Vocational excellence does not emerge in isolation – it grows in companies, workshops, inter-company training centres and vocational schools.
