EuroSkills is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in Europe. From 22 to 26 September 2027, 800 talented young professionals will come together in Düsseldorf to compete for the chance to become the best in Europe in 50 different vocational disciplines from the skilled trades, industry and the service sector. 150,000 visitors from Germany and abroad are expected to attend.
For the first time, two countries are jointly hosting a EuroSkills Competition. Under the motto ‘SKILLS! Shape Your Future’, Germany and Luxembourg want to motivate young people to shape their professional future and discover the diversity of professions – both in Düsseldorf and in the run-up to EuroSkills through cross-border activities.

Europe’s top talents in competition
EuroSkills Competitors are among the most talented young skilled professionals in Europe, having been selected at a national level. In a three-day competition, they solve challenging technical tasks under strict time constraints – individually and in teams. In doing so, they demonstrate the precise, complex skills they have acquired through training and practice, and prove their excellence at an international level.
